B-12 members are ROTC cadets, airmen, and midshipmen who believe it is important to go above and beyond the basic ROTC curriculum, in order to be as ready as possible to effectively serve as an officer in the United States military.
Membership requires a commitment, but it is also provides extraordinary opportunity. In addition to receiving leadership and specific skills training, B-12 members achieve a camaraderie that is hard to find elsewhere. That bond leads to a shared-purpose which is then augmented by other experienced cadets who choose to assist the company as attachments, lending their own knowledge and skills to the endeavor.
The path to full membership runs through Candidate Term, but those interested in getting a taste of what it’s like to be involved in Pershing Rifles can attend the various training sessions and operations that we run during the Fall semester, either as a participant or an attachment.
